Position Overview:

- Monday, Tuesday, & Friday: 9 AM - 5:30 PM
- Wednesday & Thursday: 9 AM - 8:30 PM
- Saturday: 9 AM - 1 PM
- Travel Requirement: Occasional travel to support other pharmacy locations in Austin.
Who We Are: We are a leading Specialty Pharmacy dedicated to exceptional patient care, utilizing the Pioneer RX system for all our operations.
Your Role: As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive their medications accurately and on time. Key duties include:
- Medication Preparation: Count, pour, mix, and package medications with precision.
- Data Entry: Label containers and accurately enter prescription details into our system.
- Insurance Verification: Confirm insurance benefits and process payments at the Point of Service (POS).
- Patient Interaction: Build rapport with patients, case managers, and insurance representatives to foster positive relationships.
- Delivery Coordination: Manage prescription deliveries and oversee routine reports and correspondence.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address and resolve issues while upholding our core values.
- Additional Duties: Complete other tasks as needed.
What Were Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree in a health-related field is a plus.
- Experience: At least one year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Certification: Must be registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy (BOP) and hold State Certification. National certification preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in English; bilingual in Spanish is an advantage. Strong MS Office skills and experience with pharmacy software are preferred.
- Attributes: Must have reliable transportation and a positive, flexible attitude.
