Paraprofessional Job Opening

We are looking for a committed Special Education Paraprofessional to support our high school students (grades 9-12). This full-time position plays an integral role in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with special needs.

Job Overview:
  • Position: Special Education Paraprofessional
  • Grade Levels: 9th-12th
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Duration: Through the academic year
  • Hours: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers to provide classroom and instructional support.
  • Grade student work and manage classroom equipment such as copiers and audio-visual tools.
  • Monitor students during recess, breaks, and other activities.
  • Offer personalized care, assisting with feeding, toileting, and other needs.
  • Perform specialized care such as catheterization and suctioning when required.
  • Apply CPR knowledge and support students with physical tasks including lifting.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with students with special needs is an advantage.
  • Certifications: CPR and basic first aid knowledge.
  • Skills: Ability to manage personal care responsibilities and assist with physical activities.
