Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our warehouse team for night shifts. This role is essential to our UHT Distribution Center, ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. You will be working in a fast-paced, cold environment, handling and moving products efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Execute warehouse department orders and package shipments.
  • Load and unload material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
  • Pull stacks of product from refrigerated trailers and/or pallets.
  • Load stacks of product onto refrigerated route trucks.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the load-out dock.
  • Complete varied tasks with quality and on time.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs, and Quality standards.
  • Effectively utilize available time to achieve results by prioritizing demands.
  • Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making abilities as needed.
  • Show proficiency in essential tasks of the job and a willingness to learn.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to stand for 12 hours.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs non-stop.
  • Proficiency in packaging, packing, inventory, production, general labor, and loading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Demonstrates a willingness to work hard and in cold temperatures of 34 degrees.
  • Ability to work closely with others and communicate effectively.

Work Environment

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The typical shift is from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Battle Creek, Michigan.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
