Fully Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) -Virginia

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our team and provide remote educational services to students in Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a difference in the lives of visually impaired students from the comfort of their own home.

Job Details:

  • Location: Remote; work from anywhere in Virginia
  • Type: Contract-based
  • Schedule: Flexible; full-time or part-time options available
  • Requirements:
    • Masters degree in Education for the Visually Impaired or related field
    • Valid Virginia Teaching License with endorsement in Visual Impairments
    • Experience working with visually impaired students in a school setting preferred
    • Proficient in using technology for educational purposes

Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual instruction, assessments, and support services to visually impaired students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and IEP teams to develop and implement educational plans
