Collections Specialist

We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry in Milwaukie, Oregon. This role is a contract engagement, where the primary task will be to manage customer accounts with outstanding balances and formulate effective payment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to understand the reasons for account delinquency and devise appropriate solutions.

• Propose corrective actions in a timely manner to address delinquency issues.

• Handle inbound collection and customer service telephone inquiries promptly and efficiently.

• Foster a detail-oriented team environment by effectively communicating with colleagues, customers, and vendors.

• Utilize CRM tools to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and perform necessary billing functions.

• Implement collection processes as needed.

• Proven experience in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry is necessary.

• Must have a solid understanding of CRM systems and their application in a business setting.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) or customer service experience is required.

• Ability to handle answering inbound calls professionally and efficiently.

• Experience in executing billing functions and understanding of billing procedures.

• Demonstrated knowledge of collection processes and ability to manage them effectively.
