IT Director

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of an IT Director to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in North Bethesda, Maryland. The IT Director will play a crucial role in managing our IT systems and cybersecurity, overseeing vendor relationships, and supervising the administration of our CRM. This role also involves analyzing operational challenges and implementing IT system improvements to support our staff.

Responsibilities
• Supervise and guide the Database Systems Manager and IT Systems / Cybersecurity Specialist.
• Manage relationships with outsourced IT providers to ensure optimal service delivery, including help desk services, project services, and cybersecurity services.
• Conduct system assessments, including new vendor and annual vendor security assessments, and internal controls assessments.
• Oversee the administration of various CRM systems, including Blackbaud CRM (BBCRM) and additional Endowment management software (iPhi/ Stellar).
• Participate in new implementation projects, including IT requirement gathering, report development, documentation, and workflow development.
• Identify operational challenges across departments and design IT system and process improvements to support our staff.
• Develop, document, and update data and technology strategies, policies, and procedures based on organization priorities and trends.
• Create and maintain processes and workflows to sync data between various systems and tools.
• Oversee the acquisition, upgrade, installation, and maintenance of hardware and other equipment.
• Develop and implement training programs for both new and existing staff on current and new technologies.
• Create dashboards and reports to measure indicators of performance across the organization.
• Stay updated with the latest digital organizing and communications trends and technology, and integrate them into our work as appropriate.• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential for the successful execution of networking tasks.
• Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with Cloud Technologies is required.
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage and analyze customer interactions and data.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is needed to manage and integrate the important parts of the business.
• Experience with ERP Solutions is necessary for system software management.
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies is required for data protection and disaster recovery.
• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware is needed for system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating Contracts is required for managing vendor relationships.
• Proven track record in successful Deployments of IT systems and solutions.
• Knowledge of Deskside Support is required for providing technical support and assistance.
