Description:

- Conduct and document a variety of electronic, mechanical and electromechanical tests on electronic systems, subassemblies and parts to ensure units function according to specifications- Conducts test procedures, technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.- Reads, understands and utilizes product performance specifications, wiring diagrams and schematics to understand testing requirements and equipment to be used.- Perform test of functional performance of systems, products, subassemblies, and parts under specified environmental conditions including but not limited to temperature change, vibration, pressure and humidity.- Calibrates test instruments- Analyzes' test data on defective units to determine root cause of failure.- Devises and documents test equipment setup to evaluate performance and operation of nonstandard or customer returned units.- Associate?s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Must be able to read and write in English, interpret documents such as Test Procedures, Equipment manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.- Ability to make all calculations necessary to develop, deploy and evaluate test processes and product performance to test specification.- Has the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Symix Software; Lab View ; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- at least 3-5 years of relevant experience- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.- Ability to write routine reports.- Read/Write Fluently in English- Must be well-organized, flexible and able to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment- MS Office Suite including; Outlook, Excel, Access, and MSWord.
