Shifts Available: 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift

Overview: Join Randstad USA in Alsip, IL, as a Multi-Craft Technician and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing manufacturing operations. This role requires a blend of skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a special focus on PLCs and network interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Management: Operate equipment safely according to company procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Technical Support: Provide expertise on PLCs across the manufacturing floor, including programming and circuit design.
• System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintenance Expertise: Perform comprehensive plant-wide maintenance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Collaborative Training: Develop and document training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge in control systems.

Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles, local and national electrical codes, and PLC systems.
• Experience: Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Communication: Ability to receive and interpret complex instructions both verbally and in writing.
