Job Summary:This is an entry-level position in a Manufacturing group responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred. Local candidates are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:• Perform general laboratory support functions to maintain laboratory cleanliness, operation, and safety.• Support production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, and other lab support duties.• Conduct low complexity manufacturing operations (buffer manufacturing) and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance, and/or cleaning).• Wash glassware.• Monitor material inventory.• Collaborate with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet the weekly schedule.• Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed.• Conduct 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations.
Required Qualifications:• High school diploma with strength in science and math or relevant work experience, or B.S./B.A./A.S. in a relevant field.• Proficient in time management.• Well-developed interpersonal skills.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:• Industrial experience.• Knowledge of GMP/ISO.
