Aerotek is hiring now for their best clients in the market. Grab this opportunity to work with one of our client for a Blending operator position with pay range started from $18/HR up to $22/HR - where you will get the room to grow and make your perfect career

Job Description

Candidates will operate a stand-up forklift and reach truck, following a batch sheet to pull raw materials from the warehouse and load them into machines. They will handle both dry materials and totes of chemicals. For the chemicals, they will hook up hoses from the tanks to the totes. They will document the weight of the materials they are loading into the machines using an HMI screen on the machines. Additionally, they will be cross-trained in the tanker area, requiring them to climb up on tanker trucks to attach hoses and document all received weights in the system.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a stand-up forklift and reach truck.
  • Follow batch sheets to pull raw materials from the warehouse.
  • Load raw materials into machines.
  • Handle both dry materials and totes of chemicals.
  • Hook up hoses from tanks to totes for chemicals.
  • Document weights of materials loaded into machines using HMI screens.
  • Cross-train in the tanker area.
  • Climb tanker trucks to attach hoses.
  • Document all received weights in the system.
Essential Skills
  • 2 years of stand-up forklift and reach truck experience.
  • 2 years of mixing/blending experience.
  • Ability to comfortably lift 60 lbs consistently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with GMP.
  • Experience in chemical handling.
  • Experience in machine operation.
