Volt is immediately hiring for a temporary Accounting Clerk in Fresno CA.
As an accounting clerk you will:
Be responsible for providing support to the accounting department by performing various clerical tasks, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with audits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Support the accounting team during audits and tax preparation.
- Handle data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
This is a Full-Time Temporary opportunity
Assignment will last a month or longer.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Clio).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Collections experience is a plus.
Pay Rate: $20+ per hour depending on experience
Monday-Friday
8am-5pm
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
