As an OT, you'll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive therapy services to students across various grade levels.

Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Emeryville, CA

Job Type:

  • Full-time position for the 2024-2025 school year
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, regular school hours
  • Onsite: Provide services across multiple school buildings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapy Services: Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten to 12th grade, addressing a wide range of needs and abilities.
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct assessments to identify students' motor and sensory needs and develop individualized therapy plans to address areas of concern.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure the delivery of effective therapy services and support student progress.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to review goals, progress, and make recommendations for therapy services.

Requirements:

  • OT Certification: Hold certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with students in a school setting is preferred, but passionate and motivated candidates are encouraged to apply.
