About the Role:
Seamer Maintenance Technician - Subject Matter Expert (SME) - As a Seamer Technician, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting seaming machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
Your expertise will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that our canned products meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, adjust, and operate sealing machines for production runs.
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on sealing equipment to minimize downtime.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Perform inspections and tests on finished can verify proper sealing and integrity.
Troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during production.
Collaborate with production staff and management to optimize efficiency and production output.
Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and repairs.Provide competent and effective maintenance support to our plant operations. Deliver training and guidance to Maintenance Technicians.
Responsibilities:
Systematically execute preventive and proactive maintenance to avert equipment breakdowns
Prioritize maintenance repairs to minimize disruptions to manufacturing operations
Uphold the efficiency and functionality of machinery
Identify problem areas and develop appropriate solutions to rectify issues and prevent machine deterioration
Support the facility's food safety, SQF, and GMP programs to ensure compliance and achieve desired outcomes
Possess the ability to resolve issues with all production and support equipment to enhance line efficiency
Draft work SOPs and aid in developing PM protocols
Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist in implementing and maintaining the LOTO program at the plant
Work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively
Actively participate in the recruitment of maintenance personnel for the company
