We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing packaging and corrugated boxing machines. This role requires a blend of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, welding, and fabricating skills, along with a solid understanding of industrial packaging machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on flex converting machines, balers, labeling machines, automated equipment, and conveyor systems.
  • Inspect drives, motors, and belts; check fluid levels; replace filters; and perform other maintenance actions as per checklists.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Assist with machine changeovers and machining tasks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Work Environment

Pretty clean and climate-controlled environment. Since they are dealing with products that will eventually be consumed, they take high caution in maintaining cleanliness. The shift is roughly the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM, Monday to Friday). Candidates will need to be relatively flexible around this, as the whole maintenance team is about 3 people total. There is an option for overtime, and occasional Saturday work may be required depending on workload.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00
