Pay: $19-$22 an hour

Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Thursday

Job Description

We are looking for an Assembly Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills. Prior production or labor experience is required, with manufacturing experience being a significant plus.

Responsibilities
  • Operates various surface grinding equipment to machine magnetic materials.
  • Inspects finished product to ensure specifications for a particular operation are met.
  • Reads and understands simple manufacturing instructions (MI’s) with direction from other personnel.
  • Notify group leader and/or supervisor of problems with equipment and/or product.
  • Follow all safety, quality and departmental procedures.
  • May install grinding wheel on spindle.
  • May be required to operate CNC computer console on occasion.
  • May be required to pack and stamp or otherwise mark finished goods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in order to meet organizational and customer objectives and business conditions.
Essential Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use small hand tools
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Basic math knowledge
  • General understanding of mechanical principles
