Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable inpatient pharmacist to join a well-established hospital team in New Iberia, LA. This role offers a mix of day and evening shifts, allowing you to apply your skills in order entry, verification, and patient consultation in a supportive environment.

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: December 16, 2024
  • Shift: Flexible 5x8-hour shifts (between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
Responsibilities
  • Perform order entry and verification with accuracy.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure proper medication dispensing protocols.
  • Provide pharmacokinetic consults and collaborate with physicians on patient care.
  • Other inpatient duties as required to support hospital operations.
Qualifications
  • Licensure: Active Louisiana pharmacist license required.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience.
  • EMR: Proficient in EPIC.
