Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team in Canton, OH. This is a 1st shift position, working from 7am to 3:30pm. The role involves operating a CNC Brake Press Machine, specifically a Cincinnati machine brand, and ensuring the accurate fabrication of sheet metal components.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Brake Press Machine (Cincinnati machine brand)
  • Attach tooling to the machine bed and program stops in the machine
  • Review setup sheets and specifications
  • Perform setups
  • Read blueprints and make accurate measurements for tolerances/dimensions of finished pieces
  • Troubleshoot minor machine errors
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long durations
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years experience with brake press
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Use of hand and power tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Cincinnati brand brake press
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
  • Experience in fabricating sheet metal and setting up machines
  • Knowledge of punch press and general machine operation

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.50
