Details:
Onsite near Englewood, NJ
Pay Range: $45+/hr (depending on experience)
- Remainder of the 2024-2025 school year
- Full Time, 30-35 hours/week
- Monday - Friday schedule
- ASAP Start - 6/20/25
- PreK and Kindergarten caseload
- Multiple school sites (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites)
- General BCBA duties
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure the implementation of effective behavior support plans.
- Provide training to school staff and parents on behavior intervention strategies and techniques.
- Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis to ensure the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans.
- Attend IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of behavior intervention plans, progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the school's special education team to support students with special needs.
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in New Jersey
- Master's degree in behavior analysis or related field.
- Experience working with students with special needs in a school setting.
- Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
