We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all electrical components and machinery run smoothly and contribute to the overall operational success of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical issues in various systems including lighting, control circuits, motors, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Installation & Upgrades: Assist with the installation, modification, and upgrading of electrical systems, including wiring, panel installations, and new equipment setups.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems meet safety standards and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inspections. Update maintenance logs and recommend improvements.
- Collaboration: Work with other maintenance personnel and production teams to minimize downtime and improve system performance.
- Preventive Maintenance: Assist in the development and execution of a preventive maintenance schedule for electrical equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot Controls & PLCs: Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and other control systems for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond to electrical outages and emergencies, ensuring swift resolution of any critical issues.
- Inventory Management: Manage and track inventory of electrical parts and materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
