Job Summary:
LHH Has partnered with a nation leader in offshore wind energy to support hiring of their next Cost Estimator. In this role you will design execution plans and develop cost estimates for large-scale dredging projects, with high-level of exposure to executive management with various growth opportunities. The position reports to the Vice President of Estimating.

Your Role:
• Produce accurate cost estimates for hard bid projects of $25M +
• Review and summarize key elements of project plans and specifications
• Ability to produce clear, concise overview drawings for presentation and discussions
• Ability to present the project and estimate during bid review sessions with senior management
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability in the development of the estimate
• Work closely with various support departments in a team environment
• Capable of effective time-management, able to prioritize various project tasks simultaneously.
• Offer estimating support to on-site Project Managers during execution of project
• Update and monitor project costs, production, and budget throughout construction.

About You:
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration or
• 8 + years’ equivalent and relevant work experience AND
• 5 years of relevant experience in the dredging and/or marine construction industry OR
• 5 years of relevant experience in a cost estimating position in a comparable industry

Preferred Qualifications
• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Analytical experience utilizing PowerBi or similar software is a plus
• Effective communicator and attentive listener with excellent attention to detail • Self-starter, willing to learn, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast paced environment • Excellent written and oral communication skills for senior management reporting

Additional Information:
• Salary: $90-100k plus up to 5% bonus
• 401(k) program that includes 100% company matching of the first 6% of employee contributions with immediate vesting.
• Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
• Annual profit-sharing contributions by the company to participants’ 401(k) accounts based on company’s annual performance.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
