Special Education Paraprofessional - Willimantic, Connecticut

Details:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for an autism classroom in Willimantic, Connecticut. This is a contract position starting from December 9, 2024, through June 13, 2025. The paraprofessional will support a classroom of seven kindergarten students.The position offers 35 hours per week, from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM. The teacher and additional paraprofessionals will be present in the classroom to provide support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Connecticut Department of Education (DOE) Certification required
  • Experience or interest in working with students with autism
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators

Pay and Benefits:
