Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Virtual Sign Language Interpreter to join our remote team in California. As a 1099 independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to provide virtual interpreting services to students in need of sign language support. This role offers flexibility and the chance to work from home, while receiving support from a clinical and technical team. You will also have access to a comprehensive toolkit to help you integrate into lessons and support your work effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual sign language interpretation services for students in educational settings
- Work closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to ensure clear communication
- Utilize sign language to facilitate student understanding of lessons and content
- Support students learning and participation in various subjects, ensuring accessibility
- Use a comprehensive digital toolkit to assist in lesson planning and communication

Qualifications:
- Must have a 4.0 EIPA score, RID certification, ESSE-I/R assessment, or NAD/ACCI assessment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Experience providing sign language interpretation in educational settings preferred

- Previous remote or virtual experience is preferred, but not required
