Job DescriptionJob Description

The Electrocardiography Technician assists the professional staff in performing diagnostic testing in the Cardiopulmonary Department including E.K.G.s, Treadmill Stress tests, Holter Monitors, and the application of Event Recorders. The Electrocardiography Technician is responsible for meeting and maintaining established medical and cardiopulmonary protocols

Responsibilities:

  1. Accountable and responsible for performing and assisting with cardiac diagnostic testing according to established standards, policies, and procedures of Washington Health System.
  2. Accurately reports information to medical staff and members of the Cardiopulmonary/EEG team in order that they may intervene to provide adequate and appropriate care.
  3. Completes and demonstrates competency in all technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Electrocardiography Technician Skills & Responsibilities.

Shift: Rotating days, weekends, and holidays. Shifts include: 6:30am-3pm, 7am-1pm, 8am - 2pm, and 9am- 5:30pm

Hours Per Week: 18-24
