Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Universal Banker to join our team in Auburn, Massachusetts. This role is crucial in our Credit Union industry, where you will be responsible for assisting members with account transactions, servicing deposit accounts, and handling consumer loan products. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist members with account transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
• Open and service all deposit accounts and consumer loan products.
• Support in opening and servicing Mortgages and IRAs.
• Handle Business deposit or lending products, referring to management, coworkers, or specialists as necessary.
• Perform duties promoting and supporting all Central One and CUSO services to new and existing members.
• Answer inbound calls and address customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Process checks and handle cash transactions.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account activity.
• Maintain and update customer credit records.
• Adhere to collection processes and procedures.• Familiarity with credit union industry
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls
• Experience in check processing
• Understanding of collection processes
• Knowledge of consumer loans and credit
• Ability to handle bank transactions
• Strong customer service skills
• Cash handling experience
• Open to candidates with 0+ years of experience in a similar role
