Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Mail Services Specialist to join our team located in Toms River, New Jersey. In this role, you will be handling all aspects of mailroom operations and providing essential office support. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Accept and prepare mail for dispatch, including processing UPS packages and DHL international shipments.
• Ensure all outgoing mail and packages are adequately protected against damage and have appropriate postage and identification.
• Coordinate with vendors for shipment requests and advise package owners of arrangements.
• Deliver mail packages, copy products, and stationery to assigned groups or locations as per the daily schedule.
• Audit delivered items against delivery invoices and approve or reject based on inspections.
• Replenish, as necessary, all mail and postage supplies.
• Answer common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisors, and effectively present information to internal groups.
• Analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise, possibly recommending new techniques.
• Ensure that all packages received and delivered are shipped and/or delivered the same day or inform consignee of next day delivery.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook, to maintain accurate records and perform other tasks.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• Strong skills in customer service and communication, able to handle complaints and answer queries effectively
• Knowledge and understanding of office functions, mailroom procedures, and shipping functions
• Experience with handling deliveries, both outgoing mail and deliveries to the office
• Ability to perform data analysis and audits, particularly with regards to invoices
• Familiarity with the operations and production processes in a mail service environment
• Proficiency in scanning documents and managing electronic and physical mail
• Ability to adhere to a daily schedule and manage tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of postage costs and processes, including international shipments
• Willingness to undergo a all candidates required to undergo all candidates required to undergo drug screening as part of the recruitment process
• Experience in managing and delivering mail in a detail oriented setting
