Job Description

We are seeking skilled Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join our team. You will be responsible for performing electrical troubleshooting and repairs to ensure efficient and effective maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs in pairs of two.
  • Conduct both reactive and preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair fuses, switches, photoeyes, relays, servos, drives, power supplies, control panels, wiring, motors, and other 480v systems.
  • Utilize Omron and Siemens PLCs to troubleshoot system faults, including replacing, troubleshooting, repairing, and programming PLCs with laptop hookup and using ladder logic.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 6 years of industrial maintenance experience or a journeyman card.
  • Proficiency in using PLCs for troubleshooting faults across large systems/lines.
  • Comfortable with troubleshooting, replacing, and programming PLCs.
  • Ability to hook up PLCs via laptop and read ladder logic.
  • Familiarity with sensors, photoeyes, fuses, relays, control panels, wiring, switches, servos, drives, motors, and other 480v systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Fanuc CNC and Fanuc robotics.

Work Environment

This is a union position under IUE CWA Local 785. The facility is non-climate controlled, and all tools are provided. Technicians will work in pairs, and coveralls are provided.
