Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker for a temporary position at a syrup flavoring plant. The shift is from 5 AM, Monday through Friday. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift, picking orders, inspecting bottles, and handling both glass and plastic bottles. You will be responsible for ensuring correct labels, checking for overflow of syrup, identifying leaks, capping, and boxing. This position requires standing on your feet all day and lifting boxes weighing up to 75 pounds. The project is expected to last 2-3 months as we transition from one warehouse to another next door.
Responsibilities- Operate a sit-down forklift.
- Pick orders and handle glass and plastic bottles.
- Inspect bottles for correct labels, syrup overflow, leaks, and proper capping.
- Box bottles and ensure quality standards are met.
- Lift boxes weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Assist in moving operations from one warehouse to another.
- At least 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
- Experience with GMP, inspection, production, GDP, packaging, and pallet operations.
- Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift.
- Attention to detail and reliability.
- Production experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.

Work EnvironmentThis is a large facility with a warehouse on one side and production on the other. The production side has 4 lines running with 4-10 workers per line. The environment is room temperature, and safety measures include wearing hair and beard nets, as well as safety glasses.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Leandro, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
