Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, located in Parsippany, New Jersey. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, providing administrative support across the team. You will be handling the flow of people through the business and ensuring that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for our company, answering inbound calls in a professional manner
• Transfer calls as necessary to the appropriate team or staff member
• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office, ensuring they are comfortable and all their needs are addressed
• Organize and manage coverage for company events, such as holiday parties
• Maintain a friendly and personable demeanor at all times to enhance the company's reputation
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the team and ensure efficient operation of the office
• Manage scheduling and appointments as necessary
• Handle customer inquiries, escalating complex issues to the appropriate team or staff member
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in a receptionist role, preferably within the Energy/Natural Resources industry
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and handling inbound calls
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the specified country.
