Job Description
You will be responsible for working in the yard, performing tasks such as pulling orders of inventory off trucks, using a forklift to retrieve orders from the yard, and assisting with deliveries to clients. Note that you will not be driving a vehicle but will ride with a full-time employee.
Responsibilities- Pull orders of inventory off trucks.
- Retrieve orders from the yard using a forklift.
- Assist with deliveries to clients without driving a vehicle.
- Work collaboratively with other yard workers and staff.
- 6 months of production and forklift experience.
- 6 months of experience working in an outdoor environment.
- Ability to work with hand tools and at least 6 months of framing experience.
- Experience in construction, general labor, and manufacturing.
- Proficiency with hand tools.

Work EnvironmentYou will work both indoors and outdoors, requiring you to dress appropriately for the elements at all times. This location employs around 100 people, including inventory staff, office personnel, runners, framers, installers, and management. The yard team consists of about 25 workers. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and every other Saturday from 7:00 am to noon. During busy periods, typically starting at the end of April, you will be expected to work from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm and still every other Saturday from 7:00 am to noon. The attire includes jeans and a t-shirt, with gloves, safety glasses, and a hard hat provided.
