Job Summary
The Plumbing Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing plumbing systems for various projects. This role requires expertise in mechanical engineering principles and the ability to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. Direct hire, located in Tustin, CA Pay is DOE

Duties

·         Design and develop plumbing systems for commercial and residential buildings

·         Conduct root cause analysis on plumbing issues and provide effective solutions

·         Utilize CAD software to create detailed plumbing system drawings

·         Collaborate with project teams to integrate plumbing systems into overall building designs

·         Utilize engineering software such as Simulink, LabView, and SolidWorks for system analysis

·         Fabricate prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts

·         Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to plumbing system designs

·         Operate CNC machinery for the fabrication of plumbing components

 

Experience

·         Experience in the plumbing industry

·         Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

·         Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for plumbing system design

·         Familiarity with engineering software like Simulink and LabView

·         Knowledge of relevant codes and standards governing plumbing systems

·         Experience in conducting root cause analysis on plumbing issues is a plus
