Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

Job Type: Full-time for 24-25 School Year

Responsibilities:
- Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or other supervising professionals. This includes implementing strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior reinforcement.
- Providing direct instruction to students based on individualized educational and behavioral goals outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or behavior plans.
- Collecting data on students' behavior during intervention sessions, and accurately recording and graphing behavior data for analysis by the BCBA or supervising professional.
- Supporting students in mainstream classrooms or specialized settings by implementing strategies to improve behavior and social skills, and promoting inclusion and participation.
- Collaborating with teachers, school administrators, and parents/guardians to coordinate interventions and ensure consistency in behavior management strategies across settings.
- Assisting in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when students exhibit challenging behaviors that may disrupt the learning environment or pose safety concerns.
Qualifications:
- Valid RBT Certification
- Desire to work in pediatrics and make a difference.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
