Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans specifically designed for students with hearing impairments in North Dakota.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology, such as video conferencing and digital learning tools, to facilitate communication and enhance the learning experience for students.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and their families to ensure continuous improvement and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and local education agencies in North Dakota to ensure inclusive and effective learning experiences for all students.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification in Deaf Education or a willingness to obtain certification in North Dakota.
  • Experience working with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, particularly in a remote learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and families virtually.
