Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is looking to hire Data Center Logistics Technicians for a Fortune500 client in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role you will be responsible for performing assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations. Leverages process knowledge and best judgment to complete next task without direct supervision. Coordinating, preparing, and executing incoming/outgoing deliveries (e.g. purchase order [PO] receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor [RMS] activities). Ensuring complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. Performing inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity. Performing material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process. Ensuring detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. Performing destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures and runbooks.

 

Compensation:

$19/hr to $22/hr.

 

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

 

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
