Soliant Health is thrilled to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist in Whittier, CA. We are looking for a passionate and skilled professional to join our team and provide exceptional speech and language services within a school environment. This role will involve working with students from grades K-12 for the uping 2024/2025 school year.

As a Speech Language Pathologist with Soliant Health, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on students' munication skills, academic performance, and overall success. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, creating individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering therapy sessions, and collaborating with educators and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans based on assessment results
  • Provide both direct and indirect therapy services to students
  • Track and document students' progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students educational goals
  • Attend IEP meetings and offer remendations for acmodations and modifications
  • Stay updated on the latest practices and advancements in speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Active or pending state Speech Language Pathologist license in California
  • ASHA certification is a plus but not required
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a caseload
