Speech-Language Pathologist (Full-Time)

Pay: Starting at $45/hour for fully qualified candidates
About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Newark, OH. This full-time position will provide essential services to students in grades K-12, addressing a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences and help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Therapy and Intervention: Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual student needs, including direct services and group sessions.
- IEP Development: Create and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), setting measurable goals and ensuring compliance with school and state regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, school staff, families, and other specialists to support student success in academic and social settings.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure goal attainment.
- Advocacy and Education: Serve as a resource for staff and families, providing strategies and tools to support students with speech and language challenges.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Ohio Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
- Experience working in school-based settings or with children in K-12 is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Compensation
- Pay starts at $45 per hour for fully qualified candidates, with potential for increases based on experience and performance.
