Sr. IT Auditor

Responsibilities:
• Conduct technology and systems-related audit work, including examinations of processing environment, database, and application controls.
• Lead the evaluation of the company's internal controls, including system controls and general computer controls.
• Coordinate with business areas to ensure processes and controls are properly documented and assist in improving technology and security-related controls.
• Provide consultative services to business areas upon request, offering advice and recommendations to improve processes and controls.
• Perform work on assigned department goals and participate in special projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with audit clients in business areas and understand technology and security-related risks, processes, and controls.
• Lead multi-person assignments and ensure audits are carried out within agreed upon project management plans.
• Create detailed audit programs, conduct testing, and communicate audit results with clear and actionable recommendations.
• Follow up on assigned audit report recommendations to ensure clients have completed agreed upon responsive action.
• Assist in identifying departmental process improvements and industry best practices that could provide additional benefits to the department. Provide guidance to internal auditors regarding department and company policies and procedures.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Audit or related field within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry.
• Proficient in Audit Engagements, Audit Findings, Auditing, and IT Audit.
• Demonstrated experience in Cross Functional Project Management.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Advanced knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CPA are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of IT general controls, application controls, and technology risks.
• Proficiency in using Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) such as ACL, SQL, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, or other IT control frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
