Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary: Seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer 5 to resolve complex engineering issues and manage certification projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field.

  • 10 years in a specific technical discipline or 15 years broad engineering experience.

  • Thorough understanding of 14 CFR part 25 regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Proficient in determination and application of certification methods of compliance to airworthiness standards.

  • Experience with managing engineering design change projects, new/amended STC projects, major repairs, and alterations.

  • Strong communication and technical document authoring skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with EASA processes and CS 25 regulatory requirements.

  • Previous experience working with a delegated organization (ODA, DAS, DOA).

  • Understanding of conformity process.

Responsibilities:

  • Select appropriate methods to resolve complex engineering issues.

  • Anticipate and resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.

  • Develop standards for diverse engineering activities balancing technical product, cost, and schedule.

  • Maintain current knowledge of developments in the aerospace field to recommend innovations.



Pay Details: $80.00 to $90.00 per hour
