Virtual School Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Kansas (Remote)
Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in a virtual environment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
• Provide direct therapy services through virtual platforms, utilizing engaging and interactive methods.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development and address any concerns.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and virtual therapy delivery.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Kansas state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLP, preferably with experience in a school setting.
• Proficiency in using virtual therapy platforms and technology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to their educational success.
