Job DescriptionJob DescriptionScion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Child and Family Therapist for our client, a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding at-risk children and families, offers essential tools and resources to prevent child abuse, neglect, and abandonment. This full-time, hybrid position, located in St. Louis, Missouri, is open for immediate hire.

The Therapist will be instrumental in transforming the lives of children, adolescents, and their families by conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing intensive therapy services at home, in schools, and within the community for clients aged 4 to 19. Therapy sessions, tailored to client needs, can be in-person or via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. This will manage cases by connecting clients to resources, sharing information, and fostering natural support systems for long-term success. Collaborating closely with collateral contacts, you will build lasting relationships with community partners, offering comprehensive support and guidance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct comprehensive Behavioral Health Diagnostic Assessments for all clients referred to the Therapeutic Mentoring program.
  • Develop and update treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to the behavioral health needs of each therapeutic mentoring client, revising every ninety days.
  • Oversee clinical group supervision of program services, client matches, progress, and outcomes.
  • Perform case management activities, including crisis planning, school advocacy, referrals, linkages, and collateral contacts.
  • Review and approve Discharge Summaries and Aftercare Plans for clinical accuracy.
  • Provide individual therapeutic counseling to clients as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and client files according to standards and policy requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Masterâ?™s Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 yearsâ?™ experience in the social work field.
  • Must hold a valid LPC or LCSW clinical license in good standing.
  • Self-starter with the flexibility to manage a wide variety of job responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient in utilizing technology for communication.
  • Familiar with best practices for meeting the educational, social, and psychological needs of children.
  • Strong organizational, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in operating computers and using programs like Word, Excel, Outlook, and specific software programs.
  • Must hold a valid driverâ?™s license and maintain a risk-free driving record.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
In addition to a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $55,000 with bonus opportunities, this impactful role offers the benefit of serving children and families in need.
