Soliant Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated High School School Psychologist to join a supportive team near Nottingham, PA 19362. This full-time role focuses on providing psychological and emotional support to high school students, conducting assessments, and collaborating with staff and families to create a positive educational experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Psychological Assessments: Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs, contributing to academic planning and interventions.
  • IEP and 504 Plan Support: Work closely with the special education team to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, tailoring strategies to support each students unique needs.
  • Counseling Services: Provide one-on-one and group counseling for students, focusing on social-emotional and behavioral challenges that may impact their school success.
  • Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff to address specific behavioral issues.
  • Crisis Intervention: Act as a first responder for mental health crises, offering immediate support to students and coordinating with external resources when needed.
  • Collaboration with Staff: Partner with teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student well-being and academic achievement.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document student progress, adjusting interventions and strategies as needed to support their academic and personal growth.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification.
  • Experience working in a high school setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, behavior management strategies, and counseling techniques.
  • Excellent munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • A mitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of high school students.
