Job Description

The Experienced Quality Assurance position will oversee aspects of quality assurance within a dairy manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

 

Shift & Pay:

8:00pm – 6:00am (Wednesday – Saturday)

$25-27 (depending on experience)

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality control activities, including process inspection, sampling, and evaluation to meet specification and quality standards.
  • Test incoming and outgoing dairy products for compliance with appropriate standards.
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation as directed.
  • Notify supervisor of any out-of-range values or variations from accepted norms in operations or product quality immediately.
  • Maintain lab records and complete all required paperwork accurately and timely, including data entry into computer systems.
  • Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP) and ensure compliance with corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

Must Have

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist, Lab Technician, or other related position.
  • Be able to use and maintain laboratory instruments to sample dairy products.
  • Post-secondary education related to food science, biological science, or related sciences is preferred.
  • Attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, work with others, and communicate effectively.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $62400.00
