We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Bone Marrow Transplant Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team in Annandale, Virginia.


$60.00-$76.00/hourly.

Full-Time Day Shift from Monday – Friday.
Shifts 6:30am – 2:30pm /2:30pm – 10:30pm. 10:30pm- 6:30am

New Program Inpatient or Ambulatory hospital base clinic pharmacist. No infusion

Licensure/Certification:

  • Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD).

  • PGY1/PGY2 Oncology residency required.

  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.

  • Board certified Oncology Pharmacist or certification obtained within two (2) years of employment.

  • Two (2) years of clinical oncology experience PREFERRED. (Looking for a pharmacist who has a specialty in Oncology)

Day to Day:

  • Interpret medication orders, profile orders and oversee the packaging, labeling and distribution of medications.

  • Input orders into pharmacy computer system for area of practice when appropriate.

  • Staff in the pharmacy operation to maintain distribution skillset.

  • Assist in performing unit inspections and verifying accreditation readiness.

  • Reviews medication lists for therapeutic duplication, omissions, dosing errors, drug interactions, and allergies.

  • Reviews, interprets, and verifies new medication orders to ensure appropriate drug, dose, route, and frequency

  • Assists nursing staff and other providers with automated dispensing machine questions.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $76.00 per hour
