Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for soda blasting, grinding, and polishing engine components such as cams, shafts, heads, and blocks. You will load parts into a soda blasting machine, reach your hands into the gloves inside the hood, and use an air-assisted gun to blast the components. The position involves following work instructions, collecting materials for the job, running the part, and ensuring the part meets specifications using micrometers and other measurement tools.

Responsibilities

  • Running parts and ensuring they meet specifications with micrometers and other measurement tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of computers, typing, and sending emails
  • Willingness to learn
  • Comfortable with hand and power tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred: 6+ months of production experience
  • Preferred: 6+ months of hand/power tool usage
  • Preferred: 6+ months of computer usage in a manufacturing environment

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
