Position Summary:
We are actively seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with students in North Brookfield, MA. In this school-based role, youll assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language needs, helping them develop essential communication skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic SLP who enjoys working with students and contributing to a supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs among students.
- Develop personalized therapy plans to target each students goals effectively.
- Provide hands-on, engaging therapy sessions to help students improve communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure cohesive support for student progress.
- Document services and track student progress in alignment with school and state requirements.
- Actively participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, offering insights for setting and monitoring goals.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
