Job Description

Shipping Technicians will be responsible for picking and packing supplement products, handling up to 300 packages per day. Technicians will be assigned to a station where they will stand for the duration of their shift. The role involves lifting and pushing up to 50lbs, and emptying two small carts per hour. Attendance and accuracy are top priorities in this small team environment. Technicians will manage a computer at their station and will be required to read and write emails using Microsoft Outlook. This is an FDA-approved facility with a clean room atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Pick and pack supplement products up to 300 packages per day
  • Stand for the entire shift at an assigned station
  • Lift and push up to 50lbs
  • Empty two small carts per hour
  • Manage a computer at the station
  • Read and write emails using Microsoft Outlook
  • Ensure high attention to detail for order accuracy and correct labeling
  • Operate within FDA-approved clean room atmosphere
  • Follow established SOPs and cGMPs for the Distribution Department
Essential Skills
  • Previous picking or packing experience
  • Ability to lift and push up to 50lbs
  • Basic computer skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Familiarity with GMPs and SOPs
  • Basic math skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP systems and software
  • Experience with FedEx and USPS shipping
  • Detailed-oriented and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced, highly regulated environment due to the handling of pharmaceutical products. The facility is a warehouse, and Shipping Technicians will work solely in this setting. The role requires adherence to SOPs and cGMPs, and involves standing for the entire shift and handling packages.
