CREDIT ANALYST

Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a sharp, skilled Credit Analyst to join a Construction Services client in the Mineola, NY area. As the Credit Analyst, you will assess credit applications, monitor customer accounts and collect on outstanding balance.

Credit Analyst Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain precise records of customer credit data.

• Monitor customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary.

• Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and conduct collections efforts effectively.

• Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to properly communicate regarding Credit & Collections

Seeking a Credit Analyst with previous Credit Analysis / Collections experience and Excellent Communication skills.

• Possess a minimum of three years of experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR), Credit, Credit Application, B2B collections, Collections, and Commercial Collections.

• Demonstrable ability to assess creditworthiness using a variety of data (financial statements, market information, etc.).

• Strong understanding of lending procedures and customer service experience.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
