W3 Global Client is looking for a knowledgeable and dynamic Tax Manager to join our team in the North Shore or Baton Rouge office to contribute to our mission of delivering excellence.

Job Summary:

This individual will oversee all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for our clients. This role requires a strong background in accounting, significant experience in tax management, and proven leadership skills to manage a team effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of tax laws and regulations, along with billing experience to ensure accurate and efficient invoicing processes.

Requirements:

  • Running a team: 1+ years

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance.

  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team.

  • Strong billing experience, with an understanding of invoicing and financial reporting processes.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.

  • Proficiency with tax automation /workflow software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the tax compliance and planning processes for a diverse portfolio of clients.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

  • Review tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

  • Develop tax strategies that align with clients' business goals and mitigate tax liabilities.

  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, providing proactive advice to clients.

  • Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and effective communication.

  • Oversee billing processes related to tax services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing.

  • Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated financial services to clients.

Job Type: Direct-Hire/Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year + performance-based bonuses.
