Fabrication Tech II Weekend Shift

Volt is immediately hiring Fabrication Techs II for a global manufacturing company on the west side of El Paso, TX.
As a Fabrication Technician you will:
- Forms, cuts and pierces metals to form fabricated assembly units
- Will use a wide variety of hand tools, air tools and measuring equipment
- Will operate fabrication machinery using digital – electronic controls
- Operates spray painting equipment and moderately complex welding equipment
Weekend Shift: 6:00PM to 6:30AM Friday, Saturday and Sunday
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years previous Fabrication experience
- Experience reading prints and schematics
- Ability to work independently
- Expertise with basic hand tools, air tools, gages and torque wrenches required
- Good hand eye coordination and excellent natural or corrected vision
- Understanding of electrical principles and UL Requirements is highly desired
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work Overtime is required
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
