Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a corporation in Arlington, VA to bring an FP&A Coordinator to their team. The FP&A Coordinator will support the Financial Planning & Analysis team in the preparation, coordination, and execution of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. The role requires a strong understanding of financial processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The FP&A Coordinator will also collaborate with various departments to gather data and insights to assist in key financial decisions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and reports.
  • Support the budgeting process by collecting and analyzing data from various departments.
  • Monitor and track financial performance against budgeted goals, providing variance analysis and explanations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and projections.
  • Support the preparation of presentations for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, track performance, and identify areas for financial improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within financial systems and reports.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from management.
  • Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring the accuracy of financial and operational information.
  • Coordinate with other teams, such as accounting and operations, to ensure alignment between financial forecasts and actual performance.
