Email Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Email Marketing Analyst to support our team with email reporting, analysis, and digital asset management (DAM). Reporting directly to the marketing team lead, this role will involve managing workflows related to tagging in Bynder (DAM system), analyzing email campaign performance, and providing actionable insights to improve email marketing strategies. Training on Bynder will be provided, and MagnetMail expertise will be supported by a technical contact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Asset Management (DAM) Tagging:
- Oversee and execute tagging projects within the Bynder DAM system to ensure accurate organization and retrieval of marketing assets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain a tagging structure for seamless digital asset management.
- Email Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate comprehensive email performance reports using Magnet Mail, highlighting key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and engagement trends.
- Conduct year-over-year (YoY) and campaign-to-campaign analyses, including:
- IPW 2024 vs. 2025 performance to date.
- FOTM (Focus on the Month) 2024 vs. 2025 campaign performance.
- Develop a 12-month performance report for the Industry Insider newsletter, including past performance insights to inform its transition to a members-only product.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with the marketing and membership engagement teams to interpret data and present recommendations for enhancing email marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with technical contacts and receive training on Bynder and Magnet Mail systems as required.
- Act as a resource for internal stakeholders seeking email performance data and insights.
- Strategic Recommendations:
- Use data-driven insights to suggest optimizations for future email campaigns and newsletter strategies.
- Contribute to refining email workflows and tagging processes to enhance efficiency and campaign success.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in email marketing, reporting, and analytics, preferably with tools like MagnetMail.
- Familiarity with DAM systems (Bynder experience preferred) and basic knowledge of tagging workflows.
- Proficiency in analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively.
